Greetings Parents and Guardians of CAL Scholars!
My name is Daniel Lee and I am the Special Education Coordinator at Center for Advanced Learning (CAL). I am grateful to be able to work with your student this year at CAL! Ms. Kalon, our Special Education Instructional Aide, and I will be serving your student by providing effective instruction as indicated in your student’s Individual Education Plan (IEP). All Specialized Academic instruction as well as other related service areas will be provided virtually based on scheduled appointment times. We will also be conducting an Annual IEP with you this year to discuss your student’s progress, strengths, growth, challenges, as well as services and goals as written in the IEP. If you have any questions regarding the Special Education Department, the IEP, Special Education instruction, or any concerns, please do not hesitate to let me know. Mi nombre es Daniel Lee y soy el coordinador de educación especial aquí en Center for Advanced Learning (CAL). Estoy feliz de poder trabajar con su hijo/a este año en CAL. La Sra. Kalon, nuestra Asistente de Instrucción de Educación Especial, y yo prestaremos servicios a su hijo/a al proporcionar instrucción efectiva como se indica en el Plan de Educación Individual (IEP) de su estudiante. Toda la instrucción académica especializada, así como otras áreas de servicio relacionadas, se brindarán virtualmente en base a los horarios de citas programados.
También realizaremos un IEP anual con usted este año para analizar el progreso, las fortalezas, el crecimiento, los desafíos, así como los servicios y las metas de su hijo/a, tal como está escrito en el IEP.
